Our Garage Door Installation Process

A new garage door is a big investment that should last for years. Therefore, it’s important to get it right from start to finish. We have a process in place that ensures our customers get what they need and installed with 100% satisfaction.

Initial Site Visit

The first step in our process is to come out to your site and meet with you. This is an excellent opportunity to discuss the homeowner’s vision and for us to provide feedback and suggestions. In addition, we’ll inspect the site for any challenges that may impact the install such as low ceilings or unusual garage door opening sizes. We can also discuss garage door openers and battery backup systems if needed.

Provide Estimate

Once we have input from the customer and understand the project site requirements, we can provide an estimate including parts and labor. Our goal is to provide an accurate estimate so there are no surprises. Unexpected challenges occur but it’s rare because our team has the experience to spot issues in our initial site visit.

New Garage Door Install

Once the customer approves the job, we set an installation date and get to work. On occasion, install dates can be affected by garage door delivery dates from vendors, especially with custom doors. We always keep our customers informed of any changes to delivery and installation dates so we’re always on the same page.

The garage door installation process is fast and efficient with our team determined to stay on schedule. You can count on a friendly, courteous service while we’re on site. In addition, we’ll leave the site spotless so all you’re left with is an awesome garage door.

Final Inspection

The final step is to walk through the new install with our customer. First, we’ll show what was done and explain any issues that might have come up. Second, we’ll go over the system operation including garage door openers and battery backup systems if installed. Lastly, we’ll make sure our customer is 100% satisfied or create a plan to address any issues or concerns.

We just moved into our new home and found the garage door to be in bad shape.  I called Keen Garage door repair after seeing their flyer in the mail.  I always try to look for a family owned Sonoma County Business when I can.  The phone was answered after the second ring.  The women that I spoke with was kind and friendly.  On the day of service, Levi arrived.  A true gentleman and hard worker.  He quickly identified the problems we were facing and came up with a reasonable solution.
